About Parkes Hire
Parkes Hire is a family owned and run business that was founded in the 1970s when the plant and tool hire industries were in its infancy. Their aim back then was to provide a quality service at competitive rates and three generations later, their philosophy has not changed. Their name has become synonymous with quality and nearly always the first choice for projects throughout the North West and beyond. They have been associated with all the North West's major construction and demolition projects. Their range of plant and tools have expanded considerably and in addition to offering plant and tools in the North West, they have also set up a dedicated powered access and cabin hire division.

Parkes Hire is a single depot operation based on a 3 acre site housing the largest range of tools and equipment in the area. They also operate the largest transport fleet which gives us added versatility. As an illustration of their capability, they have been involved in every major construction project in the North West over the past thirty years. We have provided for the construction of all the cities major shopping centres and retail parks, and many more projects.
