Tavistock Hire Centre was born in 2007 when Craig Howells and Craig SMith had the same goal to give customers what they want. They worked together at a previous hire company that they saw the opportunity to venture out on their own.

Seven years later, the independent centre now boasts a reputation that could top even the biggest of chain stores. Between the two of them, they have over 40 years of tool an equipment hire experience and both have worked for national companies throughout Decon, they have become well known around the county.

The new hire centre, which is located in Pixon Tradin Estate, on Pixon Lane is easily accessible, with ample customer parking. There is also a new showroom, which has been created to offer a relaxed and friednly atmosphere, where experienced staff members are on hand to assist both trade and DIY enthusiasts.

There is a range of equipment on side, including mini diggers and dumbers, rollers, floor and edge sanders, carpet cleaners, wallpaper strippers, toilets, cement ,ixers, compactors, brakers, and more.

You will find plenty of stocked items at the depot such as diamond products, PPE, hand tools, power tool accessories, etc. There are also some new services on offer such as a 4 hour hire rate and a "hire for 2 days, pay 1" for all weekend hires, including competitive prices on new power tool sales, from sanding machined to petrol disc cutters.

Tavistock Hire Centre offers a customers repair service, where all types of repairs are undertaken. They are also able to service and PAT test electrical equipment.
With an ever growing client base, the company now has a deal with Metabo equipment, and has stock for hire and sale. There is also a complete range of event and catering equipment, which is currently the only such service in the Tavistock Area.
