GAP Event Services, a division of the equipment hirer GAP Hire Solutions, has been nominated for three awards at the Event Production Awards and Festival Supplier Awards respectively.
The Event Production Award nomination is for the ‘Best Fencing Company’, whilst the Festival Supplier Award nominations include ‘Best Fencing/Hoarding’ and ‘Best Crowd/Pit Barrier’.
The award nominations follow a hugely successful year for the division in which they supplied equipment to some of the UK’s biggest events, including over 18,000 linear metres of fencing to over 50 venues across England and Wales for an international (tournament) event.
GAP’s Event Services division combines the expertise of all GAP services to provide a complete hire solution for event management companies. The company has 8 divisions and with over 130 locations throughout the UK, they can quickly supply a huge range of equipment from barriers, fencing, trackway and flooring to power and lighting, plant equipment, welfare services, tools and accessories, lifting equipment and bridging and structures.

The division was launched in 2014 and has quickly established itself as a success in the events industry, scooping the ‘Best Lighting Company’ award at the 2015 Event Production Award, as well as receiving nominations for the Festival Supplier Awards in the ‘Best Lighting Company’, ‘Best Crowd Barrier/Pit Barrier Supplier’ and ‘Best Fencing/Hoarding Supplier’ categories.
The Event Production Awards will be held on the first night of the Event Production Show on 2nd – 3rd March 2016 at the Olympia, London. The Festival Supplier Awards will take place at the Hurlingham Club, London, on the 28th January 2016.
